“This show is a stunning revival, it is a true spectacular, with a fantastic company.”

Last night Lizzie Hough, a member of the @Omega-Holidays team, went to see the toe tapping performance of @42nd Street, at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London.

Lizzie said she left the theatre last night, “Exhilarated and Energised,” by the performance.

“The show is more than you can imagine, and If you want to see one of the best musicals to hit the West End, with a cast that creates energy, fun and brilliance, then 42nd Street is for you!”

42nd Street is a classic backstage musical billed as a Broadway fable, which follows famed director Julian Marsh as he attempts to put on a brand new musical production during the height of the Great Depression.

Young Peggy Sawyer is fresh off the bus from small-town America, and just another face in the chorus line on Broadway’s newest show. But when the leading lady (Sheena Easton) is injured, Peggy gets her shot at the stardom she’s always dreamed of.

Lizzie says, “This is a show not to be missed! From beginning to end 42nd Street was absolutely phenomenal. The cast, the music, the sets, the choreography, the costumes, they were all 100%.”

The musical is set to have you dancing in your seat, and features iconic songs such as, We’re In The Money, Lullaby of Broadway, Shuffle Off To Buffalo, Dames, I Only Have Eyes For You and 42nd Street.

Lizzie also adds that, “The music was timeless and dance routines incredible.”

This highly anticipated new production of 42nd Street is ready to explode on to the West End’s in it’s
First performance in London tonight, 4th April 2017. In addition to an all singing, high kicking cast of 50 it also stars the Grammy award-winner, Sheena Easton.

“Sheena Easton was fantastic, in the role of “Dorothy Brock”. She looked remarkable! and her voice was unbelievable.”

42nd Street is a show that is a delight for all the senses, and the enthusiasm of the cast is said to be infectious.

“I was moved to tears with the sheer brilliance of the ensemble and highly recommend this breath-taking, toe tapping show.” Lizzie Hough.
