When you think of Chelsea what springs to mind?

The football team, Sloane Square or

“RHS Chelsea was the first flower show myself and my mum had been to and so we weren’t sure what to expect upon arrival but we were not disappointed.

The flower show was fab and there were so many exhibitions each offering something exciting, creative… and almost edible…..image (31)There was everything from the fun and quirkyimage (23)image (21)image (28)to the somewhat fantastical….

Now that’s what we call an afternoon tea!

There was music, entertainment …… and plenty of seating that was set up facing the stage so people were able to sit down and have lunch or simply rest if needed.

A discount was usually offered for purchases on the day  , plus it wasn’t just flowers that were for sale there were other ‘ideas for the garden’ and some pretty funky outdoor furniture.

image (17)We also had some time in … Stratford Upon Avon-the birthplace of Shakespeare! shakespeares birthplace_168269336We spent around 3.5 hours here and this was enough time to pop for a spot of lunch and have a wander around the quaint streets. ”

Why not have a gander at our Stratford and Shakespeare blog post where you will find interesting bits of Bardology.

All in all it was a really lovely weekend and who wouldn’t love a giant cup of tea and cake :)”
